By introduction of 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid as a second organic ligand, two new divalent metal(II) phosphonates with a 3D framework structure, namely, [Zn(HL1)(bdc)(0.5)] (1) and [Cd(1.5)(HL2)(bdc)(0.5)] (2) (H(2)L1 = H(2)O(3)PCH(NH(2))C(6)H(5), H(3)L2 = H(2)O(3)PCH(2)-NC(5)H(9)-COOH, H(2)bdc = HOOCC(6)H(4)COOH), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. The two compounds show three-dimensional (3D) framework structure with infinite two-dimensional (2D) networks pillared by H(2)bdc. For compound 1, the {ZnO(4)} polyhedra are interconnected by phosphonate groups into a 2D layer, and the adjacent layers are further cross-linked via the bdc(2-) anions to generate a three-dimensional framework structure with two types of channel system along the c-axis. A notable feature of compound 1 is the presence of alternate left- and right-handed helical chains in the structure. In compound 2, the inorganic chains, composed of {Cd(1)O(7)}, {Cd(2)O(4)} and {CPO(3)} polyhedra, are linked by HL2(2-) ligands to form a double layer structure in the ab plane, and the adjacent layers are further linked by the bdc(2-) anions to form a 3D framework structure with one-dimensional channel systems along the a-axis. Luminescence properties of compounds 1 and 2 have also been studied.  相似文献

Grafting of polystyrene with narrowly dispersed polymer microspheres through surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was investigated. Polydivinylbenzene (PDVB) microspheres were prepared by dispersion polymerization with poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) as stabilizer. The surfaces of PDVB microspheres were chloromethylated by chloromethyl methyl ether in the presence of zinc chloride as catalyst to form chloromethylbenzene initiating core sites for subsequent ATRP grafting of styrene using CuCl/bpy as catalytic system. Polystyrene was found to be grafted not only from the particle surfaces but also from within a thin shell layer, resulting in the formation of particles size increased from 2.38-2.58μm, which can further grow to 2.93μm during secondary grafting polymerization of styrene. This demonstrates that grafting polymerization proceeds through a typical ATRP procedure with living nature. All of the prepared microspheres have narrow particle size distribution with coefficient of variation around 10%.  相似文献

The molecular structures, electron affinities, and dissociation energies of the Si(n)H/Si(n)H- (n = 4-10) species have been examined via five hybrid and pure density functional theory (DFT) methods. The basis set used in this work is of double-zeta plus polarization quality with additional diffuse s- and p-type functions, denoted DZP++. The geometries are fully optimized with each DFT method independently. The three different types of neutral-anion energy separations presented in this work are the adiabatic electron affinity (EA(ad)), the vertical electron affinity (EA(vert)), and the vertical detachment energy (VDE). The first Si-H dissociation energies, D(e)(Si(n)H --> Si(n) + H) for neutral Si(n)H and D(e)(Si(n)H- --> Si(n)- + H) for anionic Si(n)H- species, have also been reported. The structures of the ground states of these clusters are traditional H-Si single-bond forms. The ground-state geometries of Si5H, Si6H, Si8H, and Si9H predicted by the DFT methods are different from previous calculations, such as those obtained by Car-Parrinello molecular dynamics and nonorthogonal tight-binding molecular dynamics schemes. The most reliable EA(ad) values obtained at the B3LYP level of theory are 2.59 (Si4H), 2.84 (Si5H), 2.86 (Si6H), 3.19 (Si7H), 3.14 (Si8H), 3.36 (Si9H), and 3.56 (Si10H) eV. The first dissociation energies (Si(n)H --> Si(n) + H) predicted by all of these methods are 2.20-2.29 (Si4H), 2.30-2.83 (Si5H), 2.12-2.41 (Si6H), 1.75-2.03 (Si7H), 2.41-2.72 (Si8H), 1.86-2.11 (Si9H), and 1.92-2.27 (Si10H) eV. For the negatively charged ion clusters (Si(n)H- --> Si(n)- + H), the dissociation energies predicted are 2.56-2.69 (Si4H-), 2.80-3.01 (Si5H-), 2.86-3.06 (Si6H-), 2.80-3.03 (Si7H-), 2.69-2.92 (Si8H-), 2.92-3.18 (Si9H-), and 2.89-3.25 (Si10H-) eV.  相似文献

Integrated analytical techniques were used to study the tissue distribution and structural information of gold nanorods (Au NRs) in Sprague-Dawley rats through tail intravenous injection. Before in vivo experiments were conducted, careful characterization of Au NRs was performed. The zeta potential proved that adsorption of bovine serum albumin on Au NRs turned the surface charges from positive to negative as in an in vitro simulation. The biodistribution of Au NRs was investigated quantitatively by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry at different time points after injection. As target tissues, both liver and spleen were chosen to further demonstrate the intracellular localization of Au NRs by the combination of transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Moreover, synchrotron-radiation-based X-ray absorption spectroscopy was employed and it was observed that long-term retention of Au NRs in liver and spleen did not induce obvious changes in the oxidation states of gold. Therefore, the present systematic method can provide important information about the fates of Au NRs in vivo and can also be extended to study the biological effects of other metallic nanomaterials in the future.   相似文献

Particle-wire-tube mechanism for carbon nanotube evolution   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The synthesis of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has been proved to be greatly promoted by vapor metal catalysts, but the fast reaction feature and the required high-temperature environment involved in CNT evolution usually make it difficult for an insight into the evolution mechanism. Here, we successfully freeze the synthetic reaction at intermediary stages and observe the detailed morphologies and structures of the obtained intermediates and various objects related to carbon nanotubes. It is unveiled that there is a kindred evolution linkage among carbon nanoparticles, nanowires, and nanotubes in the vapor catalyst-involved synthetic processes: tiny carbon nanoparticles first form from a condensation of gaseous carbon species and then self-assemble into nanowires driven by an anisotropic interaction, and the nanowires finally develop into nanotubes, as a consequence of particle coalescence and structural crystallization. The function of metals is to promote the anisotropic interactions between the nanoparticles and the structural crystallization. An annealing transformation of carbon nanoparticles into nanotubes is also achieved, which gives further evidence for the evolution mechanism.  相似文献

CdS nanocrystals were synthesized in 1-octadecene (ODE) solution with oleic acid (OA) as a capping agent. Freshly prepared CdS nanocrystals showed a weak orangelike fluorescence due to defects on the particle surface. After several weeks' storage, the bulk fluorescence of CdS nanocrystals was dramatically enhanced, which gave the nanocrystals a blue or violet appearance. UV and photoluminescence (PL) measurements were employed to investigate this process. It has been found that the oxygen in the air played the most important role. The oxygen atoms could absorb on the surface of particles and a layer of oxide was gradually formed, which effectively passivated the surface of CdS nanocrystals. Interestingly, this oxidative process had no relation to UV illumination.  相似文献

We present experimental results to verify extraordinary optical transmission through two-dimensionally periodic, corrugated metallic films without holes as predicted by Bonod et al. [Opt. Express 11, 482 (2003)]. We also experimentally confirmed that using symmetric structures (metallic films sandwiched between two identical dielectric media) is advantageous for boosting the coupling of surface plasmons so as to create strong transmission peaks.  相似文献

We present an effective numerical technique to characterize the scattering of wide-slot antennas fed by waveguides with arbitrary terminations in terms of the method of moment (MoM) and the mixed potential integral equation (MPIE). In particular, the precorrected-fast Fourier transform (P-FFT) eliminates the need to generate and store the usual square impedance matrix andthus leads to speed up the matrix-vector multiplication in the resultant system. This property makes the Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) functions to be useful in simulating electrically large-scale problems. In addition, the scattering from the finite ground surfaces is accounted for in the total scattered field by using the method of equivalent edge currents. The numerical results are presented and compared with both the traditional method of moment results obtained using the entire-domain basis functions and the experimental results, to demonstrate the proposed method to be a good candidate for study on the scattering of arbitrary wide-slot large array.  相似文献
